Osteopath
Steve Davies was educated at Cheltenham College and the British School of Osteopathy, qualifying as a registered osteopath in 1985.
He immediately set up practice in his home town of Cheltenham, working from College Road. In 1991 he moved his practice to The Vineyard, expanding to include chiropody and massage therapy.
He has always enjoyed treating all forms of muscular-skeletal problems. His techniques include alot of soft tissue massage, and osteopathic manipulation if needed. He treats all ages and in 30 years has treated over 14,000 patients. These include 6 international rugby captains, a West Indian cricket captain, equestrian world champion and olympic athletes.
He played rugby for Gloucester and The Old Pats, and cricket for the Slad Exiles. He now enjoys being a season ticket holder at Kingsholm, plays cricket for the Gloucester Gypsies and golf at Cotswold Hills.
With a love of classic cars, you may see him driving around Cheltenham in his white, 1965 Mustang !
He is married to Linda, and his son Jono has inherited his dad's love of the sea and boats. After a 3 year yacht management degree, he now works on superyachts.
