Andy Hoskins
Osteopath
Andy qualified with a Masters degree from the British School of Osteopathy (now known as the University College of Osteopathy). He has since gained a wide variety of experience working within several private multidisciplinary clinics around London. He is also one of only a few osteopaths in the UK to have worked within an NHS physiotherapy outpatients department.
He enjoys using a variety of techniques including deep-tissue massage, stretches, postural advice, joint articulation and manipulation (when appropriate). Andy has worked with a wide variety of patients suffering from musculoskeletal pain, including children, office workers, athletes and the elderly. He takes a holistic approach to an individuals’ pain or injury and enjoys diving deep into their story to find the root causes of their pain, working collaboratively with them to come up with solutions. He is also a firm advocate for the use of exercise as a means of rehabilitating from injury. His goal is to enable individuals to improve their quality of life and get back to the activities that are important to them – whether that is being able to pick up the grandkids or run an ultra marathon!
Having spent the last 18 years in London, Andy, Susannah and the twins are now enjoying their relocation to the Cotswolds. Andy is a keen runner, having run both the London and Paris marathons and outside of clinic life you may find him pounding the pavements around Prestbury. Otherwise he loves catching some air above the waves under his kitesurf.
